Overnight fasting..

Studies have shown, leaving 12 hours between dinner and breakfast is enough time to give your body chance to rest and digest your food. As well as helping your mood, energy levels and immune system because being in this fasted state is beneficial to the gut microbiome. That lovely bacteria in the tummy.


In western culture it’s pretty common to eat snacks right up until 10/11 at night and then start eating immediately when we wake up at 6/7/8am. Overtime this can be detrimental to your health because the body is constantly working in overtime to digest this food.


Some people argue that you shouldn’t eat past 6pm.. but as long as you are leaving this gap you are doing your body a favour by improving your overall health.
